Prof. Shunli Wang

Inner Mongolia University of Technology

Shunli Wang is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Executive Vice President of Smart Energy Storage Research Institute, Academic Dean of Electric Power College of Inner Mongolia University of Technology, deputy general manager of Daqingshan Laboratory of Inner Mongolia Electric Power Group, visiting professor of Xi 'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, IET Fellow, academic leader of National Electrical Safety and Quality Testing Center, provincial Tianfu Qingcheng scientific and technological talents, provincial overseas high-level overseas students, provincial A-class Tianfu talents, the first batch of academic and technical leaders of China Science and Technology City, and the top 2% scientists in the world. Focusing on the major national strategic needs of new energy and energy storage systems, relying on the expert workstation of large-scale energy storage technology academicians, the engineering research center of the Ministry of Education of large-scale energy storage technology, and the smart energy storage research institute, we focused on the research of green and low-carbon energy storage in smart grids, undertook 56 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and national key research and development, with a RIS value of 13985, and published 258 articles in the SCI core library. Among them, there are 52 articles in the first area /TOP journal of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 36 highly cited/hot articles, 63 authorized invention patents/standards/software copyrights, 9 works published in international and domestic publishing houses, and 9 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, including 3 international gold medals, 17 chairmanship of international conferences, and 5 editorial boards of international and domestic Chinese periodicals. The core technical achievements have reached the international advanced level and been reported by People's Daily.

Prof. Yongpeng Shen

Zhengzhou University of Light Industry

Shen Yongpeng is an IEEE Senior Member, he is arecipient of the Special Government Allowance of Henan Province, a Council Member of the Henan Provincial Society for Electrical Engineering, a Council Member of the Henan Provincial Electrotechnical Society, a Committee Member of the Electric Vehicle Charging and Swapping Systems and Testing Committee under the Chinese Electrotechnical Society, and a Youth Editorial Board Member of the journal Power System Protection and Control.He has been recognized as a High-Level Talent in Henan Province, a Top Young Talents in Zhongyuan, a Scientific and Technological Innovation Talent in Henan Universities, a Young Backbone Teacher in Henan Universities, and a Young Scientific Talent in the Power Sector of Henan Province. He has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, nine provincial and ministerial-level projects including key research and development initiatives, and six enterprise-sponsored collaborative projects. Additionally, he has participated in the completion of five national-level projects, such as the National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program).His achievements include receiving one Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China General Chamber of Commerce (as the lead researcher), two Second Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress of Henan Province (as the lead researcher), one Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Education (as a participant), two Invention and Entrepreneurship Awards from the China Invention Association, and one Silver Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. He has also authored three academic monographs.

Prof. Kai Wang

Qingdao University

Professor Wang Kai is a pacesetter in the new era of post meritorious labor competition in Shandong Province and a high-level leading talent at the municipal level. Master's tutor (master's and master's degree), branch secretary of the Department of Electric Power, vice president of Weihai Innovation Research Institute of Qingdao University. He graduated from Dalian University of Technology with a Ph.D. and is a standing member of the Electronic Components and Materials Committee of Shandong Institute of Electronics and a member of the Components Committee of China Power Supply Society. Serves on the editorial board of Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems. He has presided over 8 scientific research projects (including 1 863 sub-project and 3 in Shandong Province), more than 10 horizontal projects, 5 participation standards, 5 authorized invention patents, 10 utility models, 5 soft works, and 3 transformations. He has published more than 30 SCI indexed papers, 3 with an impact factor of more than 20, 9 with an impact factor of more than 10, and published 3 monographs and textbooks. energy storage elements; storage and conversion of new energy; distributed microgrid and energy storage; Energy Internet; cascade utilization of energy storage devices, etc.

Prof. Farhad Shahnia

Murdoch University

Professor Farhad Shahnia received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, in 2012. He is currently an A/Professor at Murdoch University. Before that, he was a Lecturer at Curtin University (2012-15), a research scholar at QUT (2008-11), and an R&D engineer at the Eastern Azarbayjan Electric Power Distribution Company, Iran (2005-08). He is currently a Fellow member of Engineers Australia, Senior Member of IEEE, and member of the Australasian Association for Engineering Education. Farhad's research falls under Distribution networks, Microgrid and Smart grid concepts. He has authored one book and 11 book chapters and 250+ peer-reviewed scholarly articles in international conferences and journals, as well as being an editor of 6 books. Farhad has won 5 Best Paper Awards in various conferences and has also received the IET Premium Award for the Best Paper published in the IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution journal in 2015. One of his articles was listed under the top-25 most cited articles in the Electric Power System Research Journal in 2015 while one of his 2015 journal articles has been listed under the top-5 most read articles of the Australian Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He was the recipient of the Postgraduate Research Supervisor Award from Curtin University in 2015 and the Australia-China Young Scientist Exchange Award from the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering in 2016.
